Monger / Maker pilot test
Thank you for participating in the pilot test of monger/maker. The goal of this project is to develop a program that provides affordable, iterative feedback to cheesemakers who contribute to an ethical, equitable, and environmentally sustainable food system. By developing a service that would not otherwise be accessible to these makers, we contribute to the growth of their business and thus a greater food future.

Please complete the following form in its entirety. Robust, respectful, frank feedback is the most valuable feedback you can provide. Provide as detailed a response as possible.
This is a COMPARISON EVALUATION. In this case, you are comparing THREE recipes that a producer is testing and providing feedback to compare and contrast the recipes.
Please keep the following in mind as you proceed with your evaluation:
Be sure to set the cheese(s) out for the recommended time that has been provided by the producer before evaluating the flavor of the product. Review the link provided below for producer recommendations.
Evaluations should be tasted without a pairing item to ensure the pairing doesn’t impact the evaluation. That said, if you pair with your leftovers and have thoughts on pairings you’d like to share, feel free to mention them in the final open-ended question!
Some products shared through the Monger/Maker program are not yet available to the general public. Due to USDA guidelines, sampling products to the general public that are not yet out on the market is not permitted.
Product tasting with colleagues is encouraged if it helps you with your evaluation. If you do taste in a group, note this in the applicable part of the below form.
